Bareboat Sail Club
Charlotte Harbor Sailing

Purpose:
To increase sailing activity in S.W. Florida, by making our boats available for club (bareboat) usage.

Membership:
Open to sailors with significant experience or ASA graduates. Day sailing is available to members that have completed Basic Coastal Cruising 103 and overnight use is available to members that have completed Bareboat Chartering 104 or higher. Each applicant will be assessed individually for sailing skills.

Initiation Fee:
$500 (includes a half day charter to demonstrate sailing ability and also includes the first year's annual dues).

Annual Dues:
$250 This covers checking you in and out each time you use the boat, and any orientation needed for each boat.

Terms

Return the boat clean or an additional $50 fee will be added. Clean includes rinsing the boat off to get the salt off the decks, sides, anchor, roller furler, stern, and rigging.

Security Deposit: Required on all overnight usage.

Damages: Normal wear and tear is covered, but if you break something you will pay to have it replaced or repaired. If you are involved in anaccident you will be responsible just for the deductable. Fuel is included for day sailing.

Longer trips simply fill up when you leave, which we will pay for, and then again upon your return.
